Aviva’s strong development team, with many years of field experience gained from real deployments, has developed a series of equipment for IPTV and digital cable solutions. We have integrated our software with state-of-the-art server platforms to give the customers one stop shop for the total IPTV solution. This end-to-end total solution can help operators provide IPTV services quickly.
Aviva’s products include the following:
- 1. Encoder/Transcoder: real-time H.264, MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 encoders and MPEG-2 to H.264, MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 to WMV transcoders.
- 2. VOD server: VOD server and Time-shifted TV server provide interactive VOD services for telecomm operators and cable operators. The VOD software runs on carrier-grade blade server and 1U high standalone server with up to two CPUs and quad-cores on each server blade.
- 3. Multicast server: Programs on the satellite are demultiplexed and transcoded before passed to multicast server. Aviva’s automatic recorder and streamer can also provide extra channels of customized programs.
- 4. Middleware and Back-office Management System: Aviva’s middleware and electronic EPG allows subscribers easily locate the channel or programs of interest. It also allows the operators to provide value-added services easily. The back-office management system includes all the management for the operators to provide various services.
- 5. Storage: SAN or NAS products with fiber-channel or GbE connection.
- 6. ASI-to-IP Demultiplexer: The 1U high AD800 supports up to 8 ASI ports. It demultiplex multiple MPTS streams from the ASI ports into up to 120 SPTS IP streams that the IPTV system needs.
- 7. Multi-channel Monitoring System: The big-screen multi-channel monitoring system allows the operator to monitor the contents and quality of all the program channels.
- 8. Set-top-box: Our OEM STB supports H.264/MPEG-4/MPEG-2/WMV in HD and SD quality with optional Wi-Fi connection. We have also integrated our STB with several DRM software.
